Joseph has been a Rural Land Specialist for the past 8 years, and has brought many buyers and sellers together over that time. Joseph has grown up hunting and fishing in Central Alabama and has extensive knowledge about the area. He recently joined the Buchanan Forest Properties team and is excited about all the services we are able to offer our clients. He says" Buchanan Forest Properties is like a one stop shop for anything land." Joseph enjoys finding that dream property for his clients, but most of all he enjoys building relationships that last beyond the point of sale.
Joseph has a BBA from Troy University in Montgomery, and lives just outside the Montgomery area in Pike Road, AL with his wife Britney and daughter Rylie. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing tennis in his spare time.
Having grown up hunting and fishing, John has the background and experience needed in rural properties.John was born in Mississippi and graduated with a B.B.A. from the University of Mississippi in 1995. After working for the federal government in Washington, D.C., John moved to Montgomery, AL and joined Buchanan Timber and Forestry, LLC in 2003. After being in the timber and land business for 2 years, John thought it only natural to obtain his real estate license to help people find and sell property. In 2008 Buchanan Forest Properties, was opened and John became qualifying broker for the Montgomery Office.
John is an avid deer and turkey hunter and loves spending time in the outdoors. When John is not working he loves spending time with his wife (Sara Elizabeth), and his 3 sons (Breland, Gaines, and Monroe).
At an early age, Mike realized that he had a special love for the Great Outdoors. In 1979, he started
guiding and developing land for whitetail deer and turkey hunting. This was the cutting edge of wildlife habitat management and
commercial hunting in Alabama.
In over thirty years of on-the-job training, it didn’t take many smiling faces from those satisfied customers for Mike to
realize that, "This is what it’s all about," helping other reach their goals.
It doesn’t matter if you’re hunting for that big buck or that piece of God’s Great Outdoors that you’ve always
dreamed of owning, Mike brings that same kind of burning desire to take care of the customer to our team here at Buchanan Forest
Properties.
For the past eight years, Mike has been employed with Buchanan Timber & Forestry as the wildlife habitat management
department, known as Valley Creek Outdoors.
Mike and his wife, Dena live just outside of Selma, and the both enjoy spending time with their grandchildren, Madelyn and
Cutler.
Brad was raised in a land and timber family from Montgomery. In his early teens he was called to do
land management work on properties throughout central Alabama. He even spent one high school summer break doing hard labor
work at a sawmill in Wetumpka. Brad received a Business Marketing degree from Auburn University. After graduating from Auburn,
he attended a forestry program at Alabama Southern. From 1992 until early 2005 Brad worked for a couple of timber dealers and
land management companies in east, central Alabama. From January of 2005 until September of 2011, he worked exclusively as a
land broker throughout central Alabama. During this period Brad worked with many great clients and helped sell over twenty
million dollars worth and many thousands of acres of rural land.
In late September of 2011 Brad joined the team of land and timber professionals at Buchanan Forest Properties. Joining Buchanan
allows him to use all of his past experience, knowledge and passion, in land and timber, to assist land owners and land buyers
with their property needs throughout central Alabama. With Buchanan he is continuing his service to landowners with timber
and land management along with timber and land sales.
Brad lives in Auburn with his wife and two children. He loves spending time outdoors and time with his family. The perfect day
